Rev. Edmond G Prevost Sr.
The religious and social activities of Rev. Prevost are sincere and of great serenity throughout the metropolitan area of New Orleans and the nation. He is a retired professor at the Union Baptist Theological Seminary and Pastor of the 1st Thessalonians Missionary Baptist Church where the Word of God is preached and practiced with both young and old. In spite of any great achievement, Rev. Prevost desires to be called a servant of God and humanity.
Lorraine S. Prevost
Lorraine Prevost, who serves as Director of Education for 1st Thessalonians M.B.C, is also the wife of Rev. Edmond G. Prevost, Sr. Lorraine graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in English and continued her studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological seminary with a M.R.E in Social Ministries. Lorraine is a strong believer in Christ and spreading His message. Her walk with God started at a young age and grew into a strong relationship as an adult. Lorraine is the proud mother of 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
Edmond G Prevost Jr.
Mr. Prevost, who serves as COO of 1st Thessalonians M.B.C is the founder and CEO of 222 Entertainment. He established a production company to develop high quality music for recording artists. Edmond Prevost, Jr. (aka Eddie P) was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. It was here where he began his music career. His love for music began early on in the church and quickly grew into a career as a gospel organist and music director. His great love for jazz piano and the liveliness of New Orleans also greatly influenced his music. Eddie P is an innovator and a leader in the production industry. Mr. Prevost has worked with numerous national recording artists and is also active in lower ninth ward community rebuilding efforts.
Copelon J KirklinCopelon J. Kirklin has a strong business background and firm foundation in the things of God. He attended the University of New Orleans from 1997-1999 with a major in Business Management. He is currently a 2nd year student at the Ever Increasing Word Training Center in Darrow, LA with Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr. presiding as President. He also has a solid musical background partnering on many projects with Edmond Prevost, Jr. as well as a nice collaboration with Kim Prevost-Solley. He owns and operates a consulting firm, The KPC Group out of Denham Springs, LA. His firm provides the bridge to domestic and international clients who are in request of specific products, services, etc to the suppliers of the aforementioned demands. The letters “KPC” stands for what his firm stands for…Kingdom Principles Consultancy. Copelon does not separate his core Christian values from business as some may feel the need to do. His belief is that it all goes hand in hand. His morals and values transcend from his personal life into his business and ALWAYS lives by a God-inspired motto, “COUNTER WITH KINDNESS”.
Kim Prevost has been racing the high road to success since winning the 1999 “BET on Jazz” Jazz Discovery Award. She has performed with musical greats like Arturo Sandoval, Bobby McFerrin, Nicolas Payton, Ed Calle, Sammy Figaroa , Matt Lemmler, Kirk Whalum, Bill Solley and Allen Toussaint. Kim is a native of the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans. Being an accomplished vocalist and songwriter, she has worked in all facets of the entertainment industry. She began singing as a child, in church choirs, where she often performed duets with the Pastor, her father. In addition to completing eight years of formal dance training, she also worked extensively as a model for companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue. She continued to sing, dance and model throughout her college years. Her theater credits include local leading roles in “Sweet Charity” “Dreamgirls”, “West Side Story” “ A Dose of Reality” and a Cole Porter review . Additional credits include several commercials and dancing for the MTV show “NFL Jams Live”. Kim has appeared at numerous festivals, and have toured extensively from England to the Netherlands, Japan, Denmark, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina, Germany, the United States with plenty stops in between. She along with her duo guitar partner, Bill Solley, are repeat performers at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy. With five music releases, the latest release entitled “Just in Time ” on Enthropya Records, she has received critical acclaim from numerous publications including Jazz times, Just Jazz Guitar, Allmusic.com, and Offbeat. Kim was chronicled in a feature documentary about her family gospel roots entitled “Full Circle: Journey Back to Gospel”. Kim can also be seen in the recent documentary “No Cross , No Crown”. She is a featured vocalist on “The Fragile” of Trent Reznor’s Nine Inch Nails.
