Rev. Edmond G. Prevost, Sr. is a native of New Orleans and finished product of its public school system. He furthered his education and graduated from Southern University in New Orleans and the University of Europe. He received certification as a personnel and business management specialist.
He pursued his Master of Religious Education Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and received the Doctor of Divinity Degree from the Inter Baptist Theological Center of Houston.
Rev. Prevost is the proud husband of Mrs. Lorraine Smith Prevost and father of three daughters, Kim, Nicolette, and Tracie. Finally blessed with a son, Edmond, Jr., he felt like Abraham.
The religious and social activities of Rev. Prevost are sincere and of great serenity throughout the metropolitan area of New Orleans and the nation. He is a retired professor at the Union Baptist Theological Seminary and Pastor of the 1st Thessalonians Missionary Baptist Church where the Word of God is preached and practiced with both young and old. In spite of any great achievement, Rev. Prevost desires to be called a servant of God and humanity.
