Expand Access To Health Care
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has enabled millions of Americans to have access to quality care, especially eliminating pre-existing conditions. During the pandemic of 2020, millions of Americans were able to have Medicaid to alleviate the high cost of medical emergencies. Now that the emergency relief has ended, many will have to find ways to pay for medical costs or have food on the table. There are many states that refuse to expand Medicaid. This would give people protection from unexpected medical costs. The church could provide resources to its members on how to find ways to apply for medical resources and Medicaid, with an area specifically dedicated to this service.
